Week 1:
Having all these winners in one house is truly stunning. So many different gameplay styles that all worked out in their own way to get them the cheque. So rolling up to Week 1 with so many big names I was anticipating a filler week so no waves would be created so early. No one wants to be the first one out, so the easiest option will likely be taken. Someone a bit disconnected from the rest of the cast most likely.
The season hasn’t even started yet and people are already strategizing. Former connections are definitely going to be playing a factor this season, however some surprising groups have formed. Most of these groups are just Rob adding people to chats but it seems to be working out for him. He’s created a group of himself, Phorix, and Yellow along with another group of himself, AnEpik, and Kaelan. People in these groups may not entirely like Rob, but as long as he’s willing to not come after them I suppose there’s no reason to not use him as a meat shield for a few weeks. They just can’t let him last too long. Nothing has been formed, but you already know that Jack and Mike are together. They’re too good of friends to not be together. I’m sure that Xbro and Psy will also be on side side if need be as well.
I purposely chose an HOH comp that had the potential to instantly create some drama in ‘Majority Rules’, but sadly that didn’t happen. Right away I’m able to notice that everyone in this cast is pretty calm and collected. Most of these people have been in the community for a long time and believe it or not are aging, so petty drama may be a no this season. When Jack pulled out the first HOH of the season, I instantly saw it as a positive for him. The reason the first HOH is often dreaded is because it makes you look like a comp threat, but this is a group of returnees who already know Jack’s capabilities. He’s as standard as they get, so he won’t be targeted for this. Instead he’s able to crack some first deals and give some people safety.
Looking at nominations it’s kind of what I expected and I can’t blame Jack one bit for trying to make a huge move on week 1. Chuck and AnEpik are nominated and it isn’t going to cause any chaos. AnEpik has been out of the community for a while, and he isn’t necessarily seen as the most deserving houseguest in the cast to be here. Chuck was unable to attend the session, but he as well is pretty disconnected from the rest of the cast. However if he was here, I know for a fact he wouldn’t be on the block right now.
AnEpik pulling out the veto in ‘Build a Taco’ was a bit surprising. Not that I think that AnEpik is bad at comps by any means but the competition he was up against seemed to be outplaying him for the majority of the comp. I thought for sure that Kaelan or Mike were going to win it as they both were dominating, but one slip up is all it took. When the block dropped for Mike it discouraged him enough to stop trying and went afk. As for Kaelan it turns out he purposely dropped the block to throw it, however even after dropping he almost caught up to AnEpik again. With the POV around his neck though, AnEpik obviously pulled himself off the block. Jack made it clear that his replacement nominee was the pawn, that being Yellow. I’ve gotta say I never imagined Yellow being used as a pawn, but here we are I guess.
There was really no doubt about who was going once Yellow was nominated though. It seemed like everyone was on the same boat that they shouldn’t stir the pot this early, and that’s exactly what happened. Chuck was voted out unanimously in a vote of 8-0 to be the first winner evicted from the EVBB14 house.
Overall I feel like the three stars this week were Rob, Jack, and Phorix. Rob is creating a lot of bonds with everyone and honestly seems to be on no ones radar. Although that’s bound to change, for now he’s in a very dominant position. Jack winning HOH this week sets him up nicely for a few weeks to come, especially since he got himself on good terms with AnEpik. He has the ability to say he’s kept almost everyone here safe. Phorix played a very good first week overall. You’d expect him to have a pretty massive target on his back, but he’s been able to eliminate that with a really good social game. This isn’t the EVBB13 Phorix ladies and gentlemen, this early sighting looks like it’ll be him going back to his roots.

Week 2:
Yes this is week 2, but this is also when the game really begins in a sense. Everyone got by week 1 easily because Chuck wasn’t at the session, but by week 2 the games started. Everyone has met everyone and is ready to play. With this small of a cast there isn’t much time to lay low, you have to be playing hard from start to finish. You can’t leave the big names in for too long or you KNOW they’re going to dominate. I would think that someone like Classic would be targeted this week. You don’t want to give the guy a third EVBB win, and you know the longer he stays the more comps he’ll win.
The HOH brings back an EVBB classic in ‘Guess the Speed’ which went on WAY too long mind you. However in the end, Psy came out on top. Psy is a complete wildcard to me, and I’m honestly just excited to see what he does. I know that Psy is a gameplayer and I don’t think he’d be afraid to make a big move, but the real question is will it benefit him the most to pull the trigger right now. Psy is in a position where he needs to build connections. He needs to show people that he’s trustworthy but at the same time show that he’s here to play.
These nominations really surprised me and I don’t know how I felt about them. He nominated AnEpik and Yellow, who had both just been nominated the previous week. I guess Psy’s just taking the approach of just trying not to stir the pot. He makes it clear that AnEpik is the target this week, and that Yellow is the pawn. I said it last week and I’ll say it again, using Yellow as a pawn is a bit WeirdChamp to me. Yellow is not someone you can just put on the block against AnEpik, however I do feel that Yellow has the connections to stay if he does happen to stay on the block.
For the Power of Veto competition we had houseguests help Logan Paul in the ‘Maverick Merchandise’ comp. It was a tight battle between Kaelan and Yellow, but in the end Yellow pulled out the veto win. This really shows that Yellow still has the potential to pull out some comp wins when he really needs them. I’m honestly really happy to see him pull this out and am curious to see if the target stays as AnEpik or if a backdoor is in place. To no one's surprise at the ceremony Yellow pulls himself off the block. Psy then stands up and nominates the other half of the ETAR duo in Kaelan as the replacement nominee. Psy states that AnEpik is still the target, and that’s what I don’t get. In my opinion this is the PERFECT opportunity to evict Kaelan, who everyone knows is a beast in competitions. Just because Psy is HOH doesn’t mean that what he wants goes, and in a group of all winners who came to play for themselves, I can see Kaelan being sent packing.
By a vote of 4-2, Kaelan is the second houseguest evicted from the EVBB14 house. Yellow and Rob were both strong voices in why they believed that Kaelan should be evicted over AnEpik. Rob stated to his multiple alliances that he believed that they have a better chance of controlling AnEpik than Kaelan who is known to play for himself. Yellow just stated that he believed that there were a lot more benefits to voting out Kaelan. At first it seemed Psy was upset that people didn’t follow the plan he wanted, but he cooled down quickly and accepted the fact that Kaelan very well may have been the bigger threat. For the second week in a row AnEpik has gotten on good terms with the HOH that had nominated him, and I’m honestly starting to think this is a good thing for him. He now has both Jack and Psy who have nominated him in the past and yet instead of holding grudges he’s been able to move on from that to benefit his game. From here on out jury has begun.
My three stars this week have got to be Yellow, Rob, and AnEpik. Yellow winning the veto really impressed me, and he was a strong voice in the Kaelan vote. I think he’s built strong connections and if I had to pick a winner after this week, it’d be him. Rob for the second week in a row is here because of the fact that he’s in such a dominant position that no one wants to take a shot at him. How long this lasts is up for debate, but for now he’s set up real good. AnEpik being here may surprise a lot of people but he’s really impressed me. No, I don’t think he’s setting himself up to win by any means but he’s been making a lot of right moves. If Rob gets out soon, I believe he’ll be able to take credit for a lot of his moves and he’ll be a serious contender to win.
-
Week 3:
Don’t know what to expect this week. I feel like it could go a lot of different ways. If you forced me to pick someone who’s being evicted this week though, it’s definitely Rob. Despite the fact that he’s just formed an alliance called ‘The Jokesters’ involving himself, Xbro, and Jack I don’t like his odds. I feel like Xbro and Jack were just kinda forced into it and Rob thinks it’s more real than what it really is. Infact a lot of the houseguests lately seem to be sick of the Rob show that is currently on air, and it seems a lot are showing interest in cutting him sooner rather than later.
The script was flipped this week when AnEpik saved the world from coronavirus and won HOH. Seems like Rob will be safe this week after all, because after Kaelan’s eviction he’s 100% the only person who has his back. AnEpik has been nominated every week up until now, but I don’t think he’ll be trying to seek revenge. He’s on good terms with all the HOH’s that have previously nominated him. Overall I think the decision made this week will be whatever best benefits Rob. There are very few people that he isn’t ‘aligned’ with in this season so I can see them going up. (Mike, Psy, Classic)
This will be a bit of a filler week it seems, as AnEpik nominates Mike and Xbro. He states those are the only two houseguests to not try to reach out and speak to him and that’s why they’re nominated. Not too shocking really. This isn’t looking too good for Mike. I know that a lot of people have been throwing his name out lately just because he isn’t communicating very well. He’s seen as a huge wildcard. Phorix and Rob are pushing for Mike to be evicted the most.
The Super Mario Power of Veto Competition was crushed by Classic. He took first place in every round but the first. I don’t believe he has a very strong connection to either of the nominees, so it isn’t shocking when he decides to keep AnEpik’s nominations the same.
This eviction vote is honestly just hilarious to me. As anticipated Mike’s evicted, but the 3-2 vote was pretty funny. So I spoke earlier about the alliance formed between Rob, Xbro, and Jack. Xbro is on the block, so you would think an alliance would save him, but this is just proof that ‘The Jokesters’ are nothing. The 2 votes against Xbro were both from his so called allies, Jack and Rob. Jack and Mike are good friends, so he was obviously going to save him. Rob voted Xbro to cause ‘chaos’ as he thought the vote was going to be unanimous.
No one really stood out to me this week but if I had to pick the three stars I guess I’d choose Rob, Psy, and Phorix. Despite me thinking that Rob isn’t gonna be here too long, he did get what he wanted this week so it’s hard not to credit him with that. Psy is here simply for not being nominated, he had to have done something right because he probably should have been. Phorix was pushing for Mike as he was the only person he didn’t have a strong connection with, so him being gone puts him in an even better position than what he already was.
-
I’m lazy
So I kinda got lazy writing these, but can you really blame me? Believe it or not, writing an essay on each session is a lot of work. So to finish it off, I’ll mostly just be writing paragraphs each week. It’ll just be a little bit about each player and how they got out.
-
Week 4:
In Week 4 Rob was sent home, which is what I kind of anticipated. In the Johnny Bravo’s House of Tricks HOH competition it came down to him and Jack, and he THREW IT to Jack. I honestly wasn’t shocked he did, but I knew he was making a mistake at the same time. The Jokesters are the fakest alliance in this game, and Jack knows that nobody wants Rob here. Rob’s read on the other houseguests was really weak. Jack nominated AnEpik and Classic, and Rob didn’t get picked for Veto which honestly just guaranteed the backdoor. Phorix won the POV, and despite being aligned with him, he used it on Classic to ensure the backdoor. What Rob failed to do was show that he benefited anyone, maybe if he didn’t throw comps people would have kept him around seeing more value in him. But instead he just played for himself aligning with everyone, and people caught on quickly. He made a lot of the calls early in this game, but it was short lived. He was evicted unanimously proving that he failed to create genuine connections with anyone but AnEpik, who was sitting next to him on the block. I may sound a little harsh about his game, but for the most part I think he had a good gameplan. With this group of experienced and mature players, it just was never going to work out for him sadly.
Week 5:
In Week 5 Psy was sent packing in a very weird week. He gave up HOH, along with everyone else, to compete in Week 6 safety. Xbro was given the HOH and everyone agreed to it, so you already know that somebody is going to regret it by the end of the week. Classic ended up winning the Week 6 safety, which put a huge target on his back this week, but he ended up winning the Veto ensuring his safety for both this week and the next. Psy was renominated for simply not really talking to Xbro a whole lot, and was simply seen as the bigger threat in comparison to AnEpik who was sitting on the block with. Psy was easily one of the most voiced and dramatic houseguests this season, which is likely what made him such a threat. He never had a lot of control over the game, but he built strong connections with a lot of the houseguests. Obviously his social connection with Xbro was his downfall though, as he should have never given the HOH to someone he had hardly talked to. Overall I enjoyed Psy, he was definitely a gameplayer and is someone who I could have pictured winning this game just last week even. I predicted him as my first boot, and he really proved me wrong.
-
Week 6:
In Week 6 Jack was sent to the jury house. Phorix won the HOH, and with Classic immune it seemed like Jack was the second biggest threat to him. Jack had just made the biggest move of the season, backdooring Rob in Week 4, but making that move so early may have been what cost him the game. It put a huge target on him as it showed that he was not only here to play, but that he had already started creating a very good resume. He was nominated next to his closest ally in Xbro, and after coming just a millisecond late in the veto comp to AnEpik, his fate was sealed. AnEpik used his Extra Vote on Jack to make it overkill. Jack proved himself as a physical and social threat this season, which is likely why he ended up on the jury at Final 6. Him making it any further would have given him a very strong chance of winning this game. Phorix, Classic, and Jack were definetly the frontrunners to win the game at this stage of the game. With Classic immune, and Phorix as HOH, Jack was the only vulnerable this week and that is likely why he was taken out. If he made Final 5, it likely would have been Phorix vs Classic and he would have been able to slide by and possibly win. I don’t think Jack’s the best player of all time or even Top 20 by any means, but he’s easily one of the most enjoyable. One of my favorites this season for sure.
-
Week 7:
In Week 7 Classic was evicted after his week of safety ran out. AnEpik won HOH and nominated both Classic and Yellow. Yellow won the POV, and Xbro was renominated almost guaranteeing his eviction. Phorix evicted Classic seeing him as the last obstacle in his way of winning the game, but Yellow kept his word and evicted Xbro forcing AnEpik to make the decision. I swear waiting for AnEpik to cast the tie breaking vote was the worst way I’ve ever spent 20 minutes in my life. It was so obvious how it’d end up, but there I was sitting for him to say it. Classic overall played a very strong game. Usually in my seasons he’s carried by comp wins to an extent, not discrediting him but it can’t be argued that they haven’t benefited him in the past. This season we got more of the other half of him, he only won 2 POV’s. He made all these small brief little deals that people would just kinda accept because everyone saw him as someone that could benefit them. He’s proven himself to be dominant in comps, so it’s obviously better to have someone like that with you rather than against you. Classic was a bit of a lone shark this season, which is also a very different position from what he usually plays. He’s used to being seen as a smaller threat in a group of huge threats, but he’s a 2 time winner now and he knew he couldn’t get away with that. I think Classic proved that he can adapt this season and easily played the second best game this season.
-
Week 8:
In Week 8 Xbro was SOMEHOW voted out over Phorix. Yellow won both comps this week and had Phorix and Xbro as the final nominees. Phorix had played one of the best games of all time, and Xbro had just coasted by off of connections he’s made. However I guess AnEpik felt that the connections that Xbro had made would be strong enough to win over the jury more than Phorix’s game. I don’t know how Phorix managed to make him think this, but this is easily one of the dumbest decisions in EVBB history. As Xbro said himself to AnEpik, “You pulled and EVBB9 xbro” as he walked out the house. The statement honestly couldn’t be more true. Xbro evicted Ken over Mojo at Final 4, and that is honestly the equivalent of AnEpik voting out Xbro over Phorix. So it’s pretty ironic. Overall Xbro didn’t do a whole lot in this game, he didn’t have a lot of super strong connections. Could he have won? Maybe, idk. The jury seemed to really not like Yellow, so it seems possible. He may have even been able to beat AnEpik, but we’ll never know. Xbro brought comedic relief and that’s why we love him, not because he’s a fantastic player. At least he didn’t make braindead decisions this time around.
-
Week 9 / FINALE:
In the Finale of EVBB14, AnEpik surprised everyone and pulled out the win being declared the Winner of Winners. Who predicted this preseason? Who would have put money on AnEpik winning an all winners season? Not me that’s for sure. Anyways we’ll start with Phorix, and boy was this a shame. I was really pulling for Phorix to pull out the Final HOH. He made it to Part 3 against Yellow, and it was obvious that it was do or die for him. If he won that comp he would have easily gone on to win and be declared the greatest winner in the history of EVBB, if he loses he goes down as one of the most robbed houseguests in the history of EVBB. Sadly for Phorix and our ratings, he lost and was evicted by Yellow. Phorix was in control of this entire game, I can’t name a point in time when he didn’t have a say in who was going. He was always in the numbers and wasn’t even nominated until Final 4. Socially, he was fantastic. Strategically, his game was in top notch. He may have won some stupid comps, but he ended up tying Classic in comp wins with two. There are no negatives to Phorix’s game, I don’t know what he could have done better other than win that Final HOH. He really proved himself as a Top 5, maybe Top 3 player in EVBB history this season. Good job Phorix.
Now let’s talk Yellow Five Nine Nine Five. This man got way too much hate, although I’m not going to lie and say he played a spectacular game. Yellow of course was never a player to be making all the calls this season, but neither was AnEpik. They were both physical threats, but the difference was that AnEpik had a social game and Yellow quite clearly didn’t. However I believe Yellow looked at the game much more strategically. He used the meat shields strategy, where he surrounded himself around the biggest threats in the game. He was definitely closest with Phorix, Classic, and Rob. All of those people would and were targeted before him, so it worked out. Obviously his weakness was his social game. Other than those three I don’t think he talked to many others, and the jury made it very clear they didn’t want to vote for someone who wouldn’t even speak to half of them. I don’t blame them at all, and I’d likely do the same. I would have liked to see Yellow finally win, especially after coming this far, but I definitely understand why he didn’t.
Let’s talk about the winner of the season, the WINNER of WINNERS. This title goes to… An ETAR winner.
Dangit.
Honestly though AnEpik really surprised me this season. I think he got really lucky at times but overall he played a decent enough game to the point I can consider him a deserving winner. Early game it seemed as if we were getting more of the same with him, but with Kaelan and Rob both out of the game he was forced to adapt. He made new connections, won comps, and survived. Phorix definitely became his number 1, and although he did sheep him to an extent, you have to respect the journey he went through. He was nominated more than any other player. AnEpik used the weak reputation he had to his advantage and made a lot of connections simply because of people wanting to bring him to the end for an easy win. Obviously it turns out, he wasn’t such an easy win afterall. He used a “You owe me” strategy that really worked for him, whenever he was nominated and survived the block he would talk to the HOH and be chill about it. He would get on their good side somehow. The fact he didn’t hold grudges helped him a lot throughout the game. AnEpik winning is the one thing I would have said pre-season could NEVER happen, but here I am proven wrong. I stand corrected.
Congratulations AnEpik!
Never thought I'd say that.

So rolling up to Week 1 with so many big names I was anticipating a filler week so no waves would be created so early.

I’m lazy
So I kinda got lazy writing these, but can you really blame me? Believe it or not, writing an essay on each session is a lot of work. So to finish it off, I’ll mostly just be writing paragraphs each week. It’ll just be a little bit about each player and how they got out.
