Survivors a fun little game I enjoy hosting a lot and it's all the shot down ideas or twists that never really made it into an official season of survivor or a future planned season, and this is more or less a page to see if feedback even exists or even if anyone just wants to see any ideas that have been shot down by myself (or Evan, if he ever touches this page) that could've been a season, but were revoked either early in the drawing stages or nearly last minute.
Redemption Island
Redemption island is a very fun twist to bring around in seasons because it gives people who are left in shock a chance to come back and rewrite their wrongs in the same span. A major flaw in this twist is both inactivity and the unwillingness to make big moves until it's way too late.
Blood vs. Water
Originally I wanted to do Blood vs. Water for either season five or six, preceding Game Changers. But Blood vs. Water demands for quite the larger than life cast, because you need all these people who are connected, but at the same time you have to avoid trying to deal with cross connections because some people just find randoms to be their partners.
Last Ditch Effort
Last Ditch Effort was originally one of my ideas for Season 5 when Game Changers was still going to be viewed as the sixth season. It was a smaller format with 4 returnees and a total of 16 castaways. Each returnee would select their tribe from the 12 newbies to the era. Idols would very easily wreck havoc on the season and I wanted it to go fast, but it was scrapped due to its inability to recreate it.
Anarchy
Anarchy. I love the idea to see an Anarchy season actually go into effect on the website's long string and web of different survivor longterms and different longterm groups. The idea for anarchy being you have to prove your worth in challenges and must fight for immunity is a solid concept, but it could very easily have led to nothing but a sweep of the strong players of the not so strong but more social or mental due to how its formatted the first few weeks. More likely than not to end up a mess.
Flops, Fools, and Floaters.
This isn't my original idea, but I enjoyed the idea of it so much I almost presented it to Evan as what would have been of Season 3. A cast full of people who are never seen as threats or couldn't win challenges would be very fun to play out, I just felt like the casting for it is far too demanding because it fits into three rather specific areas. I would've loved to see this be a season theme instead of Archetypes, but it wouldn't have ever got so far because it would have been forced to be changed due to the lack of people being able to fit the roles, or the people who don't fit them being placed for them.
Highcastle
Highcastle sounds like a bit off a rather off name for a season that would be complete chaos, but that's why in turn I avoided that curveball I was about to throw at myself. It would've been a small and rushed season (meant to take place in the slot of ESU6) with a different twist every single session. These twists were not decided by hosts, they were decided by players who won a competition and would get to select from a wide variety of different twists that could play out to benefit their different play styles. Nobody has immunity? Sure. Everyones got an idol? Alright. Going to tribe at final four? Nice. Exile Island? Basic, but it still works. These twists would have their refined edges to prevent being extremely broken, but the season would be way too messy and seems more of a shortterm idea than a longterm.
